Scott R. Barney, Esq. is a dedicated Virginia attorney with over a decade of experience serving clients in the Virginia Beach area. As a third-generation lawyer, Scott upholds a tradition of legal excellence, offering personalized representation in personal injury, DUI defense, auto accidents, and traffic-related cases.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Maryland in 2002 before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, in 2005. He has worked extensively with law firms throughout Hampton Roads and Virginia Beach, developing a deep understanding of Virginia’s legal landscape.

A member of the Virginia State Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Scott is well-regarded in the legal community. Outside of his practice, he enjoys golf, hunting, fly fishing, and supporting the Washington Football Team.
