Experience and Background

Attorney Eric Dec, based in Marietta, Georgia, is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in finance and law. A Massachusetts native, he earned his B.S. in finance from Nichols College before studying for his MBA in finance at the Else School of Management at Millsaps College. He later obtained his J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2008.

Attorney Dec is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and all State and Superior Courts in Georgia. Before joining The Berman Law Group, he served as a senior attorney for the City of Atlanta and managed his own law firm. His experience includes advising businesses and individuals on legal and financial matters, with expertise in FINRA securities arbitration defense and personal injury compensation.
